Letzte Woche kam ich unverhofft zu einem Inspira Quiltrahmen. Nachdem die Teile komplett im Atelier waren, gings ans Aufstellen. Das ist trickreicher als gedacht, vor allem, wenn der PC mit dem Anleitungs-Video keinen Ton!! von sich gibt. Ist halt nicht der Jüngste und extra Lautsprecher kaufen für ein Demo-Video - das wollte ich dann doch nicht. Dass sich das irgendwie rächt, hätte mir eigentlich klar sein sollen. Statt etwa zwei Stunden brauchte ich für den Aufbau mehr als doppelt so lang. Mehrere Teile habe ich nochmals auseinandernehmen müssen, weil sie verkehrt herum eingeschraubt waren. Das Einzige, was jetzt noch nicht angeschlossen ist, ist die Quilters Cruise Control, der Stichregulator. Sobald das erledigt ist, kann's losgehen.
Last Week, I could buy a used Inspira Quilting frame. This Week I built the frame up in my studio. Oh, what a tricky work was this. I have an older computer in my studio and no speakers with it. Believe me, only seeing what you must do is not enough. Several times I rebuilt something, because I had to change parts from left to right...
Now, it is standing, the last thing missing is the Quilters Cruise Control. Next week, I can start quilting with a frame, isn't that great?
